DONATION & Fundraising INFORMATION
We truly appreciate those of you who are willing to hold events for Honor Flight Northwest Ohio and help us fund our veterans' flights. However, please keep in mind that ALL EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES NEED TO BE APPROVED BY OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS before anyone has the authority to solicit funds on our behalf. If you are considering an event or activity to help our heroes, please send an e-mail to HFNWO@bex.net stating your name and organization and what type of activity you would like to do on our behalf, where it will be held, etc. We will address this with our B.O.D.'s and get back with you as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support! Honor Flight Northwest exists solely through donations of time, materials and the generous contributions of individuals and the corporate community. In 2008 we were fortunate enough to receive Flight Sponsorships by Owens Illinois in September and by the Maumee Eagles in October. Our April, June and August flights were funded through fund raisers, product sales and hundreds of individual contributions to our cause. Most notably the activities of our local American Legions, Amvets, DAVs, and VFWs throughout Northwest Ohio.
Donations to Honor Flight Northwest Ohio can be made in person at any Key Bank, online here at the web site, or at any of the fundraising activities throughout Northwest Ohio. Additionally, for a cntribution Honor Flight Northwest Ohio merchandise proceeds help to offset the cost of flying our veterans. Merchandise can aquired (by donation) online at this site, or at most of the fund raisers. To make a contribution click one of the the links to the right. It will take you to a secure PayPal site that will accept any of a number of payments. You don't have to have a PayPal account, and your transaction is secured through PayPal's encrypted site. Please note: The donation links have been tested with the Firefox Browsers and they work fine.
